Pregnancy is a nine-month journey. However, when you are 45 days into it, that’s when you get to know mostly that you are pregnant. For most women, eight to nine months is the duration for a woman to be pregnant. It’s divided into three trimesters, three months each. The first trimester is when the body adapts to this change of hosting a baby inside it. So there would be changes physically in your uterus lining, which will stop shedding and start growing. There will be a lot of hormonal changes in the body that the body can respond to. Common responses include puking, which can be morning sickness or midday sickness. Sense of smell increases during this phase. However, each is to its own, so not everything applies to everyone, but these are the common things that people experience.

It’s good to be fit because this phase slows you down, so you have already gifted the fitness to your body. It helps for the first three months. You are advised to stay happy, give your body proper nutrition and sleep, which helps the baby to grow inside and the body to focus on the growth of the baby. It’s best to not fall ill or do things which might lead you to fall ill. If you already know your triggers, you can avoid them. If the body is going to spend time in healing, then that time and that energy are something that was to be utilized for the baby. That way, you need to be careful of yourself. You can avoid crowded places, which tend to make you fall ill. Avoid outside food, or street food, because it can cause some food poisoning, especially in hot countries.

All that kind of violence, but the body is not weak anyway. The body is going through a lot, especially during the late evenings. It’s best to rest and keep your body relaxed. Remember it’s already been stress-testing inside. The second trimester, the growth of your abdomen starts to happen. You can see the bump. It’s advised that if you have not been exercising hard before, then keep it that way. Typically, people who have been athletic before pregnancy can continue to do so in the second trimester, but if you were not, avoid any changes that are new for your body in this phase of pregnancy.

The third trimester of the pregnancy is the hardest to know for me. Now the weight of the baby is about 1 kg plus, and it has taken significant space inside your body. It has crunched space for certain organs, especially the bladder. You will feel a desire to take a lot of breaks, and it’s very heavy to do something to keep your body hydrated. Nutrition, water intake, hydration, staying happy, stress-free. Staying surrounded by nature as much as possible is good for the baby and the mother during this phase. Apply ointments on your tummy, since it might turn dry because of the sudden growth. Even the skin, it might change a little, so you need to judge that and change your skincare routine accordingly. Have a step stool to keep your legs on and not keep them hanging. It helps to keep your foot at a certain angle for blood flow. There are some exercises for the neck and the back that can help you not get any pain when a body is gaining weight. In this trimester, you may gain 5 to 6 kg, so you need to do regular basic exercises. Do that while sitting on a chair or standing all day. Your neck rotation, your hip movements, and abdominal positions are to be done in the third trimester.
